MTN OFM Classic

Put your pedal to the metal, it’s almost time for the annual MTN OFM Classic in Bloemfontein! This year central South Africa’s biggest cycle race celebrates its 11th year of cycling success! Enter the mountain bike race, taking place on 5 November 2011 or Classic road race, taking place on 6 November 2011!

With R100 000 in prize money up for grabs, cyclists will be performing amazing feats of speed never before seen on bicycles – but don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself and sign up for the ride of your life! Online entries are CLOSED but we are happy to accept LATE entries at the lifestyle and cycle expo at Windmill Casino and entertainment centre on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th November.

On Sunday 6 November the biggest cycle race in central South Africa

will take place and Mangaung Traffic in partnership with the race organisers and Free State Government have found it appropriate to close the following roads on race day:

• Nelson Mandela Street from the N1 bridge to DF Malherbe from 3am to 3pm
• Zastron and Markgraaf street from 6am to 9am
• Markgraaf and President Boshoff street from 6am to 9am

• Kolbe and Curie Avenue from 6am to 9am
• Happy Valley and Harrismith and Brill street from 6am to 1pm
• Albrecht, Harrismith and Brill street from 6am to 1pm
• Lucas Steyn, Dan Pienaar and Olive Grinter street from 6am to 1pm
• Furstenburg, McHardy and Nelson Mandela street from 3am to 3pm
